This hotel is full of Versace things. I have stayed there twice...you really feel like a rich woman (but then once you leave you work hard like a dog). Anyway this time we just went and had afternoon tea. Isn't this a beautiful hotel? it's about $400 a night for twin share. It's older now comparing to other hotels but its still pure classic.

I told all the kids that i need another week for holiday because we are off to Gold coast!! But this week is busy enough. Everywhere is very dirty. I think last time I washed my curtain was probably 10 years ago!! HAHA. This week I have been organising the timetable for kids. Normally at the starting of the year its often quiet but this year the timetable is fully booked 7 days a week. Not bad for a start! Then I enrolled the ice skating class, flamenco class, back the gym membership plus contact my piano teacher. Lets get back to work next Thursday!!! this is a 2 month holiday....long enough ah....

Mum and dad came to Sydney. So we got invited to Yi ching and Andy for dinner. Their lovely apartment is finally done. Nice food, wine, city and family! Yum!
   

Don't you love this Italian style apartment? This is in the middle of Italian town. We were waiting for Monica to finish work so we could go for dinner. The only downturn for living here is that you will hear the airplane passing by almost once every 10 mins. How annoying!! Nevertheless it's beautiful. Just like in Italy.
 

I am very determined to lose 5 kilos I gained in Taiwan. Firstly I sent the email to all students to tell them that make sure when they see me, they will go "Susie, you still look skinny..." That's first step of confidence building. Then everyday I will wake up at 6 am for 30 mins exercise. So far so good. I do that everyday. So far la. Then I will cut down all sugar and dessert. So far so good la. OH. only yesterday I went to Italian town and the handsome young waiter told me the muffin is fat free. So I ordered it. Fat free la. Then the spanish nurse at Monica's surgery told me, "susie, Italian don't do fat free muffin ok". That's encouraging. I am very determined to lose 5 kilos. I am enjoying the state of hunger so far.Damn.

This is 8 courses of  set menu at Balmoral Beach. We didn't book other restaurants early so the new year's eve dinner we end up coming to Balmoral beach. The food was good, especially the atmosphere and how the big 7 members of Want family together celebrating was fabulous. This dinner costs us $1200 Australian dollars (5 of us shared) and each red pocket from each of us for mum and dad had 5 digits of OZ dollars. I really really need to start working hard and smart. Really really need to. We probably won't go back to that restaurant for a very long while.....I think its way too expensive for the price.

I have never cleaned my curtain. Not for a long time anyway. Such a massive job I just couldn't be bother. But!!! This year I decide to make my living environment a lot cleaner. As I was cleaning, I saw this dog visiting me. We have a big gate down the hill, its quite unusual for a random dog to come up. People said that during new year, its really good for a dog to come ( Dog brings wealth!!). WA WA WA. I am very happy. Going rich soon Susie.
 
  

85 degrees has been doing good business in Taiwan. The cakes look great and also in reasonable price for Taiwanese market. They opened one in Sydney CBD but the OZ didn't seem to like it. My OZ friends don't like it at least. So the one in CBD didn't seem to do that well. I was expecting it to shut down anytime. Yesterday we went to Chatswood for lunch. There is a new one there!! Considering the growing asian population in Chatswood, this one looks rather good in business!!! The cake is around 5-6 dollars each small piece (1:25 OZ-Taiwanese dollars). Next time i will go and buy some to try!

I have upload all the photos to my file as you taught me in Taiwan (xp method) but I want to show them on this pixnet blog. How do I do that? I can show them on blog directly as it indicated but they only showed the msn blog for me to click. so what's next ah....
Also a note to aria meimei!! My brother said you don't need wireless for internet phone. ADSL is enough. You connect the cord from the modem to the phone...not the computer. So no need for wireless.....
So many things happened here in Sydney....coming soon.....(after I learn how to upload photos..)

Today was such a full day. Morning Karaoke, met up with Julie and Angela, hard core shopping plus eating. By the time I met up with Michael it was 9 pm!!! So many things to eat, do and friends to see, but....so short the holiday is!!
